Episode 12 - The future of cacao

The world of cacao is evolving. Demand is growing, and farmers need to be aware that their role is key in maintaining and improving cacao quality.

Also, according to cacao expert Philippe Troplin, the future lies in the non-standardisation of cacao. We need to preserve, grow and find the typicities of cacao through genetics or through the learning process of the farmers. After all, the way cacao is cultivated has a significant impact on the quality of the end product.
