Jasmine tea has a history that goes back more than a thousand years, from the times of the Song dynasty, and has a basis of green tea and white tea. This tea is traditional in the north of China and jasmine tea is a symbol of courtesy and welcome towards guests. The harvesting of jasmine leaves starts in spring and continues through to the end of summer. Jasmine tea is highly perfumed and fragrant.
