"Before racing, the body requires carbohydrate for exercise energy with a small amount of protein and fat to sustain the carbohydrate energy throughout the beginning of the race.
This pre-race snack provides all three of those nutrients in the right combination when eating 1-1 ½ hours prior to race start. The added chocolate has an anti-inflammatory effect to prepare the muscles for competition. Enjoy 1-2 pieces as a great energy
