Miquel Guarro

Meet Miquel Guarro, Cacao Barry Chef and teacher at the Chocolate Academy in Barcelona, Spain.

Miquel Guarro is the youngest winner of the Luís Santapau Trophy, an award that recognised him as the Best Master Chocolatier in 2013. He also won gold medal in the Chocolate showpieces contest of the Barcelona Confectioners' Association.

Together with Ramon Morató, Josep Maria Ribé and Raul Bernal, he also co-wrote the book "Four in One" (on the boundaries of choco- late), which is an essential reference on chocolate, published by Grupo Vilbo and distributed all around the world.
